British Register of Complementary Practitioners

Introduction

News just in!!!

ICNM is pleased to announce that Simplyhealth now accept registered BRCP professionals in accuptuncture, reflexology and homeopathy.

The BRCP Membership Register:
The BRCP is a Membership Register that is administered by the ICNM. In assessing training standards, quality of course provision, and the competence of individual Practitioners and Therapists, the BRCP promotes the achievement of Best Practice, and not just the standard of Safe Practice.

The BRCP distinguishes between the status of a Practitioner and a Therapist with the following distinctions:
A BRCP Practitioner will be able to make a 'Complementary Diagnosis' and will therefore be competent to treat diseases and illnesses, and to work independently.

A BRCP Therapist will be able to offer safe holistic treatments within the terms of the contra-indications of their discipline(s).
